Elements of a regulation

As described in section 2.2, regulations in different jurisdictions follow specific structures, though this does vary by regulator and jurisdiction. Regulations contain elements which have several different purposes and whilst legislative frameworks and approaches to drafting legal documents vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, common elements can be identified and classified.
